Getting involved with the American Red Cross leads to so many possibilities no matter where you live in New Mexico.  Here are some ways you can become a part of the largest humanitarian organization in the world!

 

Volunteer

You can make a difference every day.  If you like to help people, you've come to the right place.  Train to be ready to respond to disasters; help victims of a house fire in your own community; become a certified Red Cross instructor teaching others how to help save lives in an emergency; assist members of our US Armed Forces; or provide administrative and office support.  The Red Cross in New Mexico will help you find the right opportunity.

The Red Cross needs people with all kinds of different backgrounds, talents and skill levels and if you need training, we'll provide it.

Once you're ready, download our Volunteer Application, fill it out and email it to MezaD@usa.redcross.org or mail it to American Red Cross in New Mexico at 142 Monroe Street NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.


After you've submitted your application, you will need to attend a Volunteer Orientation.

Orientation Schedule

Next Orientation: Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Farmington

Orientation will now be held quarterly. Orientation registration begins at 9:30 a.m. the day of Orientation. Light snacks and refreshments will be served upon registration. RVSP is required 3 days in advance by phone with the receptionist at 1-800-590-2302, or by email mezad@usa.redcross.org

The brief Informational session will cover the American Red Cross history, structure, services, programs and volunteer opportunities.
